Formaldehyde-Free
Protecting Indoor Air from the Source

Curtains are among the largest textile soft furnishings indoors. Formaldehyde, heavy metals, and VOCs in fabrics continuously release into the air. All Wintom fabrics are tested for formaldehyde content per GB/T 2912.1-2009, with results below the 20mg/kg detection limit — i.e., formaldehyde-free — safeguarding indoor air quality from the source.

Formaldehyde in newly renovated spaces comes not only from boards and paint — curtain fabrics are a significant emission source. Large fabric areas continuously release formaldehyde, which can accumulate to exceed safe levels in enclosed spaces.

3-Layer Eco Control
Full-Chain Management from Raw Material to Product

Wintom's environmental system is not a post-production formaldehyde removal. It ensures every meter of fabric meets baby-safe standards through full-chain control: fiber raw materials, dyeing and finishing processes, and finished product testing.

Raw Material SelectionFiber-Level Control
Uses eco-certified polyester fiber. The fiber itself contains no formaldehyde, heavy metals, or fluorescent brighteners, eliminating harmful substances at the source.

Eco Dyeing & FinishingLow-Formaldehyde Process
Employs a low-formaldehyde resin finishing process with an additional high-temperature washing step, maximizing removal of residual free formaldehyde. Finished fabric formaldehyde content is below the detection limit.

Comprehensive TestingThird-Party Reports
Each fabric batch is sent to authoritative institutions such as Guangdong Textile Testing Technology Institute for GB/T 2912.1 formaldehyde testing and GB/T 8427 color fastness testing. Reports are provided with each shipment.
